Our main objective of The Mother Light Foundation is to serve our communities with God-consciousness by helping the Orphan, the widow, the handicapped, the wayfarer, the previously disadvantaged and the less privileged of society.

Welcome to Mother Light Foundation

Mother Light Foundation is a registered Nonprofit organization NPO 262-468 and a Public Benefit Organisation situated in Cape Town, Western Cape Province.

The aim of the Organisation is to protect and teach vulnerable orphans, widows, the disabled, disadvantaged children and less privileged against the ravages of poverty, unemployment, crime and dysfunctional families and provides children with accommodation, care, security, education, recreation, health and nutritional meals.

The Organisation complies with minimum norms and standards as enshrined in the Nonprofit organizations Act 71 of 1997.

Mother Light Foundation serves children, young persons, woman, widows, disabled, seniors citizens and the less privileged from dysfunctional families in South Africa in particular the Western Cape Region. Some of those we serve are infected or affected with HIV and AIDS, Gender based violence, COVID-19 etc. The Western Cape has the better facilities than most other Provinces; it has been the number one matric pass rate achiever for most years since the advent of democracy in 1994. The contrast between the rich estates and poor townships is also amongst the highest in the world. This is the target area of Mother Light Foundation as most of its children and youth including all the people we serve come from these poor black townships.
