Established in 2001 after identifying the need to accommodate disadvantaged children from local
l townships of Langa, Gugulethu, Khayelitsha, Bonteheuwel, Hanover Park,Delft,Mitchell plain,Phillipi/lower cross road,houtbay,dunoon and Manenberg closer to better schools and amenities.
The idea is contribute to the better good of the greater South Africa and be part of the glue that binds its people together.

the pain of the less privileged is our concern
he Organisation complies with minimum norms and standards as enshrined in the Nonprofit organisations Act 71 of 1997.
Mother Light Foundation serves children, young persons, woman, widows, disabled, seniors citizens and the less privileged from dysfunctional families in South Africa in particular the Western Cape Region. Some of those we serve are infected or affected with HIV and AIDS, Gender based violence, COVID-19 etc
